How to have Prefire's player study - a free week, then Solo by the month or by the year - what it includes and how you pay.

Every account starts with a free week. After that, Solo is all of Prefire for one person, bought by the period.

The free week

7 days, free, once per account, with no card and nothing to cancel. It starts the first time you sign in to the web app, and it belongs to your account, not to a device. An account that has already had a trial, or has already had a paid period, doesn't get a second one.

When the week is over the study screens ask you to subscribe. Your history and your saved lineups stay where they are.

Solo

For you, studying tonight's opponent. Solo has the player study of any opponent on any map, in the web app and from your match room, your history of every demo you've sent, and your saved lineups with links to share them.

It is sold two ways: 30 days, or 365 days. The prices are on the home page and in the app, and the app shows the price again before you pay.

Time adds up rather than restarting. Buy a month with ten days still to run and you have forty, not thirty. By card, each period runs to the date of the next charge, a month or a year later.

Paying

How you pay follows your FACEIT account's country, and the app shows the way and the price before you pay:

  • In Brazil, you choose between PIX and credit card, both through AbacatePay, in reais (R$).
  • Outside Brazil, you pay by card through Stripe, in US dollars (US$). Until Stripe is open for your account, you pay the way Brazil does, through AbacatePay in reais.

PIX

The app shows a QR code and a copy-and-paste code; pay it in your bank's app and the page says so on its own, usually within seconds. Prefire never sees your bank details, and asks for no CPF. PIX needs a Brazilian bank account; from anywhere else, pay by card.

PIX doesn't renew. A payment buys one period and nothing charges you again. There is nothing to cancel, and nothing to forget to cancel. The app shows the date your access ends and offers Renew from a week before it - renewing is a new payment that you start.

Card

Pay by card takes you to AbacatePay's secure payment page, where you enter your card, and then back to the app. It is charged in full, in one payment, and the subscription renews automatically: every month on monthly, every year on yearly, on the same card. AbacatePay keeps and charges the card - Prefire never sees your card number.

You can cancel any time: open Subscribe in the web app and press Cancel renewal. The card isn't charged again and you keep your access until the end of the period you've already paid for. If a renewal doesn't go through on the card, AbacatePay tries again for a few days; if it still doesn't, renewal is cancelled and your access also runs to the end of the paid period.

Card through Stripe

Outside Brazil, Subscribe takes you to Stripe's secure payment page, where you enter your card (and the email address Stripe sends its receipts to), and then back to the app. The first period is charged in full when you subscribe, in US dollars, and the subscription renews automatically: every month on monthly, every year on yearly, on the same card. Stripe keeps and charges the card - Prefire never sees your card number.

Cancelling is the same: Cancel renewal under Subscribe. Stripe charges nothing more, and you keep your access until the end of the period you've already paid for. If a renewal doesn't go through on the card, Stripe tries again for a few days; if it still doesn't, the subscription is cancelled and your access runs to the end of the paid period.

Reminder emails

Prefire emails the address on your FACEIT account before your access runs out, so nothing ends by surprise:

  • PIX or a code: a week before your access ends, and once when it has ended.
  • The free week: the day before it ends.
  • Yearly card plan (AbacatePay): a week before the card is charged, with the date, the amount and how to cancel.
  • Card renewal cancelled (AbacatePay - by you, or after a payment that didn't go through): until when you keep access.
  • Card through Stripe: Stripe emails you itself - its receipts, a week before a yearly renewal, and a payment that didn't go through. Once its renewal is cancelled, Prefire emails you a week before your access ends, as for PIX.

A monthly card plan renewing as usual gets no email from Prefire. Every email has a link to stop these reminders, with no sign-in, and the same page turns them back on.

Codes

Activation codes still work exactly as they did. If you have one - sent to you, or from a creator you follow - open Have a code? on the subscribe screen and enter it. A creator's link opens the web app with their code already filled in, even if you sign in first. A code on an account that is already trialing extends it.

Terms and refunds covers the seven days you have to change your mind, and how a refund is made.
