Focus mode

Hide the match room's chat, ads, promotions and stream widgets while you play - never Accept, Ready, the map veto or Connect. Off until you turn it on.

Focus mode clears the match room down to the match. It's free and off until you turn it on.

What it hides

Only while focus mode is on, and only in the match room. You choose which of these go, on the extension's settings page, under Right sidebar and then What focus mode hides:

  • Match room chat
  • Advertisements
  • Promotions and banners
  • Stream and video widgets
  • Friends sidebar

What it never hides

Accept, Ready, the map veto and Connect always stay where FACEIT puts them, and so does everything else you need to play the match.

Turn it on

  1. Open the extension's settings page: All settings in the toolbar popup.
  2. Under Right sidebar, turn on Focus mode.
  3. Tick what it should hide.

Turn it off and everything is back.

Focus mode only hides parts of FACEIT's page in your own browser. It changes nothing on FACEIT: the chat is still there for everyone else in the room.
