Automations

Accept matches and party invites, connect, the map veto and the server's connect command - each off until you turn it on, and one switch pauses them all.

Prefire can do five things on FACEIT for you. They're free, every one is off until you turn it on, and each has its own switch and a line on the settings page that says exactly what it will do in your name. They act only on your own FACEIT account, in your browser, and send nothing anywhere.

The five automations

AutomationWhat it doesIts options
Accept matchesPresses Accept on FACEIT's ready check when a match is found, after the pause you choose - also when FACEIT's tab is in the background. The pause, 1 to 5 seconds. A sound when a match is found. A browser notification, "Match found", then "Match found — accepted" (your browser asks you to allow notifications when you tick it).
Accept party invitesPresses Accept on an invite to a FACEIT party.Only from players on my list (the default: the nicknames you type there stay on your computer) or From anyone.
Connect to the serverPresses FACEIT's Connect once per match, when the server is ready.Your browser may still ask whether to open Steam. That choice stays yours.
Map and server vetoWhen it's your turn to ban, bans the first map - or server location - in your own order that FACEIT still offers.Your order of maps, each Ban first, Ban or Never ban, and the server locations to ban, written as your veto shows them. A map with no mark is never banned.
Copy server detailsWhen the server is ready, copies its connect command, in the form the CS2 console takes, once per match, and says so.Also copy when FACEIT's tab isn't focused (the extension asks for clipboard access when you tick it). Without it, you get a Copy button instead.

Your own extra wait. Accept matches, Accept party invites and the veto each have one more option: a wait of your own on top of the pause - up to 10 seconds before accepting, up to 20 before a ban - with No extra wait (as before) as the default. While it runs, a card at the bottom right of FACEIT's page counts it down, like "Accepting the match in 6 s"; click FACEIT's own button yourself, or pause the automations, and it stops. It's cut short rather than miss FACEIT's own deadline.

How they act

  • At a person's pace. Each waits a short, random moment before it acts, never at once, and never more than ten times a minute.
  • Only FACEIT's own button for the job, checked again just before the click: still there, still enabled, still the same button.
  • Never after you. If you click, tap or press a key in the ready check, the invite, the veto or on Connect first, that one is left to you.
  • Never past a check. They stop at a captcha, an anti-bot check or the browser's Open Steam? prompt.
  • Once is once. With two FACEIT tabs open, a match is accepted, connected or copied once.

What they never do: queue for you, join a match, write in the chat, or touch anything but the one control they're for.

Pause them all

Pause automations, in the toolbar popup, stops every automation in every tab at once, and drops anything that was about to happen. They stay paused until you switch it off again - and, if your browser syncs extension settings, on your other computers too.

Under it, What the automations did lists the last 20 things they did, newest first, like "Accepted a match" or "Banned Nuke". It never names a player.

Turn one on

  1. Open the extension's settings page: All settings in the toolbar popup.
  2. Under FACEIT, pick where it acts - Match ready for Accept matches, Party invite for Accept party invites, Match room for Connect, the veto and Copy server details - read the line under the one you want, then turn its switch on.
  3. Set its options, just below it.

Turn the switch off, or pause them all, whenever you like.

FACEIT sets its own rules for automated tools, and they can change. The automations only press buttons you could press yourself, on your own account, but you decide whether to use them. FAQ has more.
